France still produces 16-million litres of cassis annually, and the liqueur is a staple on cocktail lists the world over. Marionette Cassis is made with white bud blackcurrants sourced from a family business in Tasmania’s famous Derwent Valley. The high acidity of the blackcurrants brings a punchy tartness to complement many a summer cocktail.
